Physicochemical property
White hexagonal system granular crystal or powder.Relative density 2.91 (25/4℃). Melting point283℃. Boiling point 732℃. Easily soluble in water, soluble in methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, glycerol, acetone, diethyl ether, insoluble in liquid ammonia. Strong hygroscopy, adsorb moisture in the air.
Use：Used as electrolyte of battery; dehydrating agent and condensing agent in organic synthesis industry；catalyst of cation exchange resin；solvent in the production of polypropylene；mordant, mercerizing agent and sizing agent in textile industry；used in the production of reactive dyes and cationic dyes.
